Christmas cheer has arrived on County Road as a special festive programme of events gets underway.
From card writing and art workshops, to festive performances and community markets, there’s something for all the family this Christmas.
A Snowflake Trail leading to Spellow Library, which features a series of sparkling light installations in shop and business windows on County Road, will run until 13 December, giving participants the chance to win prizes.
A special Nativity scene, which is over 103 years old and has been loaned by E. Carrara & Sons, will also feature in the window of Spellow Library over Christmas.
And Goodison Park’s Park End will host an outdoor Community Market on Sunday 7 December, featuring community stalls and festive activities for all the family, alongside a selection of market traders.

How to enter the Snowflake Trail:
Pick up your entry forms at the drop-off points below. Find the 14 snowflakes hanging in the windows of shops and businesses along County Road between the junctions of Breeze Hill and Carisbrooke Road, note down where they are and also count how many snowflakes are hanging in Spellow Library.
Then, post your entry form into one of the following collection points by Saturday 13 December 2025 and you could win some books:
