This year’s service holds special significance as it commemorates the 80th anniversaries of Victory in Europe Day and Victory over Japan Day, marking the end of World War II in Europe and the Far East.

The lighting project will deliver an upgrade of approximately 600 lanterns to modern, dimmable LEDs, as well as the replacement of 164 existing lighting columns
The proposed improvements are part of a wider regeneration effort under the Anfield Spatial Regeneration Framework (SRF) and aim to create a greener, safer, and more inclusive high street.
Thanks to Section 106 funding Monument Place will be transformed into a high-quality district square with landscaping, rain gardens, seating and an event space – strengthening the Fabric District’s identity
