Elsewhere in the city, the incredibly popular Christmas Markets returned to St. George’s Hall on Saturday 15 November and will run until Wednesday 24 December, from 11:00am to 10:00pm each day (with special hours on Christmas Eve, closing at 5:00pm). Visitors can enjoy stalls selling gifts, crafts and treats, a giant Ferris wheel and vintage carousel, Santa Land for little ones, a thrilling snow slide, an Alpine Bar and karaoke ski lifts, as well as live entertainment and a wide range of festive foods.
And it’s not just the city’s outdoor spaces getting a festive makeover. The City Halls – Liverpool Town Hall, Croxteth Hall, and inside St George’s Hall – will all be brimming with Christmas cheer with a special programme of seasonal events for families, music lovers, and even canine companions.
Activities include candlelight concerts, Story Time with Santa sessions, a carol concert, two silent discos (one for kids, one for over 18s), and even a Santa Paws grotto for your furry family members. Full details and ticket information can be found on the Liverpool City Halls website.
